Background
Early Life
Sosen was born like many other Veena, in the forests surrounding the Skatay Mountain Range on the eastern side of Dalmasca that borders Othard. Sosen grew up normally until he reached maturity and it became apparent that he would soon be following the wood-warders out of the village and into training. His mentorship was undertaken by a male that resided on the eastern side of the mountains, his name is all but lost to time. Unfortunately this mentorship did not last long as during a training exercise Sosen became separated from his mentor and eventually found his way out of the woods wandering eastwards. This started a multi-year trek towards the city of Kugane in which he eventually made his residence.
Current Life
Casting away the teachings of the “Green Word” Sosen found solace in the city of Kugane. Enthralled by the bustling streets, vibrant lights, diversity of people, and selection of foods in the city he decided to settle in and start a new life for himself. Deciding to completely forgo his forest name he settled on the name “Sosen” that was given to him by the shinobi he traveled and trained with. That part of his life was behind him now though and he was keen to start a new chapter.
Not long after making his way to the city Sosen met a researcher by the name of Fey. Though Sosen insisted he didn’t need her help she graciously “offered” it anyways. This led to a partnership between the two, Sosen becoming an assistant of sorts and Fey giving him gainful employment. While this situation comes with many benefits Sosen longs to find his own way in the world still… and enjoys his freetime so the employment is currently part time at best. In his freetime Sosen spends time exploring and enjoying the nightlife of any city he is currently in, documenting and grading establishments as he goes. When short on cash he may also be seen assisting in the running of some of these establishments, though, much to the disdain of Fey.
Hooks
Fey- Sosen’s dearest friend as well as employer. He owes her a life debt of sorts but tries not to acknowledge it.
You get the tab- Sosen will always try to pass off the paying for goods to those he is with. If asked he will complain about not having any money though that may seem a bit unbelievable.
Bar Enthusiast- Sosen has become good friends with those that run McTaru's, a speakeasy bar and lounge. He can often be found hanging around this venue flirting with the patrons.
Delicious and Nutritious- Sosen can be found at the Forbidden Fruits brothel on Monday’s as a fruit on offer! (Just don’t tell Fey.)
